Founded in 1987 by Taoufik Jebali (author and director) in an avant-garde spirit, El Teatro is a cultural Mecca in Tunis. It is a space for art and creation: a theater, a venue for theatrical performances and other cultural events (screenings, conferences, debates, meetings...). Although the theater is relatively small (250 seats), Tunisians refer to it as the meeting place for the city's entertainment community. The theater also offers artistic training courses. A great place to meet people.
