DAR EL MONASTIRI
Superb palace built at the beginning of the 19th century, during the reign of Mahmoud Bey, by his son Hussein. The door of the residence, framed in limestone (kadhal), is studded with vertical and horizontal lines and opens onto a large rectangular vestibule (driba) and another less large vestibule (skifa). The patio is limited by two porticoes with three arches. This palace hosts today an association of calligraphers.
