SAINT CYPRIAN BASILICA
Go there and contact
Unfortunately, little remains of this building, which had seven naves and fourteen bays. The Basilica of St. Cyprian is located one hundred meters from the sea, on the hill of St. Monica, and for this reason it is also called "Basilica near St. Monica". The Christian basilicas of Carthage were intensively excavated by the White Fathers from the 1880s. This basilica complex is smaller than the basilica of Damous El Karita. However, the building benefits from a beautiful panorama on the Gulf of Tunis and the Djebel Boukornine.
