A l’entrée du vieux village de Sidi Bou Saïd, une très belle demeure à ne pas manquer, transformée en musée pour découvrir la vie d’autrefois. Un incontournable !

Une maison magnifique qui permet de s’immerger dans la Tunisie d'autrefois. La maison en elle-même est somptueuse!

I have never seen my tea or which been able to make purchases because once paid the entrance, it had there nobody anymore!!! A shame because there were objects that I could not find elsewhere.
Superb museum really not so small. Many rooms to the overcrowded walls of history. A fine patio. Views of the city from the rooftops. Not to be missed!

Interesting indeed to dive in the past, including diving... look from the terrace of the surrounding roofs. Difficult however to see the owners, including known as the guide...

La demeure, privée, est composée d'une cinquantaine de pièces mais seules quelques unes peuvent être visitées par le grand public, moyennant un droit d'entrée dérisoire (5 dinars soit 1,5 euro).
Les décorations et ornements y sont riches et bien mis en valeur.
il est également possible d'accéder au toit de la maison, qui dévoile un impressionnant panorama sur la ville de Sidi Bou Saïd ainsi que sur Carthage !
Un thé est offert pendant la visite :)
