Go there and contact
This mausoleum was erected at the end of the 17th century and houses the tomb of Ali Turki, the father of Hussain Ben Ali. Ali Turki came from the island of Crete as part of his military service in the 17th century. His son, Hussain Ben Ali, took power in Tunisia in 1705 and founded the Husseinite dynasty which reigned until the advent of the Republic in 1957. From there comes the other name of El Kef which was sometimes called "the city of the Throne". The mausoleum is located in the street of Maaraket el Karama, at the place of the old cemetery of the shorfa.
