The ribat, which opens onto a large paved square, dates back to the 8th century. Designed not only for military purposes, but also for religious study, its architecture is sober, with small cells arranged around an inner courtyard. Dominated by a nador and several towers at each corner, it also includes a prayer room. All in good condition. From the top of the ribat, a superb view of the city and the courtyard of the great mosque! Even though this ribat is smaller than the one in Monastir, it's still charming!

I highly recommend to until the nador of this ribat in order to enjoy the beautiful view of Sousse. Very pleasant site to visit. I loved.
stairs to walk up at the top of a tower narrow, nice views and the mosque; attention in the descent that runs...
