To go to Sousse, a mainline train passes every day at 5 pm. Otherwise, the SNCFT also provides the Sahel metro: about 20 trains make the trip daily. No direct train to Sfax, you will have to take a connection in Sousse, or, simpler and faster, go to the station of El Jem by renting. To complete this information, the bus station is located at the exit of Mahdia in direction of Rejiche, and offers frequent connections with Monastir, El Jem, Sousse, Sfax and Kairouan (not direct).
