Kasserine is connected to Tunis by rail in 314 kilometers. The line serves Gaâfour in particular. From the South, a line goes to Kasserine from Tozeur, passing through Metlaoui and Moularès. From the east, on the other hand, it is better to take a bus or a rental car. At the bus station (on leaving the city after the Staroil station), the SNTRI provides a daily departure for Kairouan (2.5 hours), for Gafsa (1.5 hours) and for Le Kef (2.15 hours). Other connections are provided by the Regional Transport Company of Kasserine.
