Dar Jellouli was built in the 17th century by a wealthy family of Sfax governors. They made their fortune arming ships. The beautiful residence is an Andalusian-style palace. The tour brings to life Sfax's past, from everyday necessities to spiritual aspirations. The ground floor showcases everyday objects for cooking, grooming, clothing and furniture, while the second floor displays traditional costumes and jewelry, and the second floor displays calligraphy.
