ATELIER DE NATTES

Mohamed Khacha has been practicing basketry for almost 60 years. He learned from his father and now passes on his technique to his children. His daughters take up the baton and invite us into their mat workshop, with 100% natural items (baskets, hats, mats, placemats...) made from palm, rush and halfa. You'll be amazed at their dexterity, perhaps during a demonstration. The work is of the highest quality, respecting a tradition that few craftsmen still practice. The icing on the cake: a warm welcome!
