HÔTEL DU LOTOS
Open since the 1940s, it was the first hotel on the island and is still in operation. The Lotos is a reference to the legend of Ulysses and this marvelous fruit, which had the power to make anyone who tasted it forget their family, homeland and friends, and held them captive to the charms of Djerba. All 19 rooms are en suite, and some have balconies overlooking the sea and the Spanish fort. Located near the Orthodox chapel, the hotel also features a bar, a garden and an honest à la carte restaurant with terrace.
