KSAR HALLOUF

From Beni Kheddache, one should not miss Ksar Hallouf which occupies an area of 7,000^m2 above the valley of wadi el Hallouf and is located opposite an oasis. It has about 200 ghorfas on one or two levels, more or less well preserved. Some of them have been restored with cement, which somewhat distorts their appearance. An oil mill in good state of conservation is integrated into the ksar, a rare thing here. At 5 minutes of walk, the oasis, which played an important role in the region, allowed the development of the agriculture thanks to the jessour.
