At Hippokampos you will find fish and seafood specialties at unbeatable prices. In particular, we recommend the unmissable grilled octopus, always a pleasure. But lovers of Cretan cuisine will not be outdone with good traditional dishes as well. To be tasted in front of the sea (and unfortunately also the road!), and just a stone's throw from the old Venetian port. This address is frequented as much by tourists as by locals for years: you can go there with your eyes closed.

Fatal, 30 minutos esperando, y no ze han dignado a aparecer, nos traen la carta, y despues 20 minutos mas esperando, nos hemos ido sin pedir nada

Aan een drukke autoweg, maar de kwaliteit van het eten bij Ippokampos is absoluut de moeite waard! Het zit hier iedere avond vol met Cretenzers en dat is niet voor niets. Aanrader!

The food was delicious. The fried squid, sea bass, and grilled vegetables were all very good. Service was a bit slow, they have to bring everything from across the street. The busy street was very noisy next to the restaurant and detracted from the ambiance.
