An excellent address to taste the inventive Cretan cuisine from the beginning of May to the end of October. Ideal for a romantic dinner on the roof terrace overlooking the old port and the Venetian ramparts. The chef, a native of Crete, uses only fresh produce from the island and herbs that grow on the hotel roof (hence the name of the restaurant). The panoramic view and the professional service of the staff are appreciated. The menu changes regularly. Remember to make reservations, especially for dinner in season.

Make up your own mind based on the photo of the chicken and the view. Great meal and staff, good prices. Delicious yoghurt on the house :)

Wir haben per Zufall im Internet dieses wunderschöne Restaurant entdeckt. Es war die beste Entscheidung für uns dort essen zu gehen. Das Restaurant befindet sich im obersten Stock eines hotels. Wenn man mit dem lift erstmal oben ist, bleibt der Atem stehen. Es ist zauberhaft schön. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen einfach top! Wenn ihr in Heraklion seid, dann ist das ein muss! Wir hatten Glück dass wir ein Platz bekommen haben, aber es ist auf jeden Fall ratsam dass man reserviert. Wir haben ein kleines Dessert aufs Haus bekommen. Das war absolut der Hammer. Wir kommen bei unserem nächsten Urlaub auf Kreta auf jeden Fall wieder.

Cibo decisamente greco ma soprattutto senza un ventilatore nè nulla
Inoltre ci sono voluti 45 minuti per due insalate…insomma preparare due insalate in 45 minuti (eravamo solo noi in tutto il locale)
Inoltre, è il 30% circa più caro della media in creta
