FESTIVAL D’ÉTÉ D'HERAKLION
A rich program of shows of a high artistic level and a great opportunity to enrich your evenings in Heraklion!
The festival takes place in the Nikos-Kazantzakis and Manos-Hatzidakis open-air theaters between July and mid-September. Concerts of all genres, theatrical performances of classical (including ancient Greek tragedies and comedies) and contemporary repertoire, film screenings in VO, and dance performances are organized every evening by the municipality of Heraklion. Around 150 shows and 50 films are presented to the public. Book in advance!
