Palace in Archanes, nice address to discover the Minoan civilization.

Small Minoan palace, dating back to 1580 BC, where many objects have been discovered that provide valuable information about the Minoan civilization. Oil and grape presses, weaving looms and a potter's kiln were discovered there. The palace was quite large, with two floors and walls devoid of frescoes. There are also the remains of shops attesting to the commercial activity of the place, as well as a sanctuary. Archaeologists have deduced that the powerful Minoans also had religious places in their homes.
