Museum dedicated to folklore and geology, next to the church of St. George, in Zaros.
This small museum is located in a real traditional Cretan house, next to the village church, St. George's, and is open on request: ask for Yourgos, you can get close to a local inhabitant or call the taverna Vegera. The first part of the museum is dedicated to folklore: there are various objects from the period, of daily use (clothes, tools...). The second part houses nearly 350 different species of stones from all over the world.
