A traditional tavern in a rustic village setting. The owner studied in Belgium and speaks very good French. He will make you discover a local and tasty cuisine, as we like it. Alekos cooks everything with his olive oil, as it should be in any self-respecting establishment in Crete! He collects his snails himself under the surrounding mountainous rocks and prepares them with a pinch of garlic. The wine in carafe comes from the Lylarakis estate. A greedy stage not to be missed if you are passing through.

No se admite tarjeta, no se nos indicó hasta que llegó la cuenta. El cajero más cercano está a 10 minutos en coche. El camarero es bastante antipático, dejé a mi pareja en el restaurante mientras yo salía al cajero y al volver me contó que le estuvo dando el sermón sobre el dinero en efectivo, los teléfonos móviles e internet, como si ella tuviese 10 años y él fuese su padre.
La comida, sin embargo, estaba muy bien y no fue muy caro.

siamo capitati per caso in questa "taverna", pulita e curata come tante qui a Creta. bel cortile ombreggiato, tante piante e fiori. eravamo i primi, poi sono arrivati altri clienti. il titolare è un signore segaligno, che parla un po di inglese. abbiamo mangiato benissimo spendendo 15 euro a testa. non accettano carte o bancomat ma ti avvisano appena arrivi. ci è piaciuto molto.
