A perfect address to learn more about the history and customs of Crete.
There are 2,500 exhibits spread over two floors, showing the life of the Cretans since the 15th century: musical instruments, weaving looms, agricultural and handicraft tools, etc. This visit allows you to better understand the history and customs of Crete, forged over the centuries and successive influences (Minoan, Roman, Arab, Venetian, Turkish). A part of the museum is also dedicated to Cretan architecture. Explanation in English. Not to be missed!
