The best and longest beach, only 2.5 km from the centre of Agios Nikolaos. Its name is due to the Almyros river which flows into this beach and whose delta is a protected area. The beach is sandy while the waters are transparent and not very deep, which makes children happy. It is an organized beach with a canteen for those who want to refresh themselves or snack under their parasols. Several water sports are offered. On the western part of the beach there are rooms for rent and small hotels.
