OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CHURCH
Small Romanesque church from the 10th century, with a Gothic choir and a remarkable bell tower in Sauxillanges.
This small 10th century Romanesque church was enlarged in the 15th century with a Gothic choir, two side chapels and a gallery. Its bell tower is remarkable. Its furnishings are interesting: gilded wooden statues from the 15th century, a painted panel from the 16th century, a painting in 15 compartments representing the martyrdom of the saints Crépin and Crépinien, and a wall painting, a very beautiful Pieta from the 15th century, classified as a historical monument, which shows the Virgin holding her crucified son.
