Located at the beginning of the promenade of Sitia, this restaurant has a beautiful view of the marina and the old town. Open all year round, this traditional restaurant, or tavern, offers Greek and other dishes. They are hearty and cheap. A starter and a salad are enough to cut your hunger. Try the Cretan salad for a change from the Greek, it is delicious, or the fried mushrooms, courgette or meatballs, baked aubergines... among others.

Grilled meat and local specialities excellent (notably Bekri mezze, saganaki tiri and the mézés varied special) and are served hearty.
You can also enjoy original dishes in sauce and served in a tiles that are tasty.
The staff is very friendly and the reasonable prices.
