This is probably the oldest tavern in the city. Of course it serves traditional Cretan specialties cooked with local olive oil, including fresh grilled fish, the famous rosemary snails, rabbit, mussels in tomato sauce and sheep's cheese. It is a family affair with Mum in the kitchen, the son in the dining room and his brother who runs the Hotel Zafira just behind the tavern, where you can stay all year round. Deckchairs are free for restaurant and hotel guests.

Nette Atmosphäre direkt am Meer. Das Essen schmeckt gut. Nur der Service sollte besser sein. Auf die Rechnung haben wir 30 Minuten gewartet.

Essen war nicht besonders lecker und wurde fast kalt serviert. Die Karte hat Übersetzungsfehler bis zu dem Punkt das Fleisch mit Fisch verwechselt wird. Inhaber ist wenig einsichtig wenn es um Beschwerden geht.

Ωραίο φαγητό μεγάλες μερίδες!! Η γαριδομακαρονάδα πιστεύω θα ήταν καλύτερη χωρίς να έχει το τυρί μέσα κι αν είχε δέσει λίγο καλύτερα η σάλτσα!! Λίγο ακριβό για τις μερίδες του. Κατά τ αλλά είναι εντάξει!!
