This is probably the oldest tavern in the city. Of course it serves traditional Cretan specialties cooked with local olive oil, including fresh grilled fish, the famous rosemary snails, rabbit, mussels in tomato sauce and sheep's cheese. It is a family affair with Mum in the kitchen, the son in the dining room and his brother who runs the Hotel Zafira just behind the tavern, where you can stay all year round. Deckchairs are free for restaurant and hotel guests.

A nice restaurant near the sea. It has really good food and service. The portions were really big for the price. We also got 2 free bottles of raki and a bottle of olive oil to take home with us.

Taverna traditionala greceasca, fara pretentii deosebite, mananca multi greci aici, mancare buna dar nimic cu care sa iasa in evidenta

Fajne miejsce na typowe greckie popołudnie.
