ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM
Museum gathering objects from the Minoan period to the Roman and Hellenistic periods.
The museum is housed in the former Ottoman School of Commerce. It collects interesting objects from the Minoan period to the Roman and Hellenistic periods. Unfortunately, it offers very few explanations, and visitors will be a little lost. However, some special pieces can be admired, including a superb statue of Persephone, found in a field, and an impressive sarcophagus (1450 -1400 BC) found in the Episkopi region, covered with representations of scenes from everyday rural life.
