Alteingesessene Fischtaverne. Wunderschöne Lage direkt am Wasser in einer aufstrebenden, teils noch morbiden Gegend von Chania. Sehr schwierige Parkplatzsituation. Wenn es das Wetter zulässt, sollte man auf jeden Fall einen Tisch am Wasser reservieren. Traumhafter Sonnenuntergang. Die Vorspeisen waren in Ordnung, leider hat uns der Fisch als Hauptgang nicht überzeugt. Und der Herr im Service war leider auch nicht besonders freundlich.

Πολυ όμορφο μέρος. Μια περιοχή που ηταν η ντροπή των Χανίων, άρχισε να αναπτύσσεται εκπληκτικά.

Draußen sitzt man sicher sehr schön, aktuell abends leider noch zu kalt.
Der Service ist gut. Es gibt primär Fischgerichte. Die Vorspeisen waren sehr lecker, die Hauptspeisen konnten nicht ganz mithalten

Wir waren im Sommer 23 dort und waren etwas enttäuscht. Der Service war ziemlich unfreundlich und für das Essen wird viel verlangt, obwohl es eher durchschnittlich ist im Gegensatz zum Rest vin Chania. Das Ambiente ist aber sehr sehr schön!

Ik kan alleen maar zeggen dat je hier naartoe moet gaan als je in de buurt bent. Op internet staat dat het te toeristisch is en het eten niet al te goed is, dat is niet waar.

Je bevindt je op een unieke locatie. Het is er prachtig en het eten is lekker. Een aanrader!

I came here after watching Mark Wiens' vlog, and honestly, just for the view and the ambiance this place has. Unfortunately, the wind was too strong to sit outside when I arrived, so I had to be inside, but it was still pretty good. I did not have any expectations with the food; I'm from Indonesia, and fresh (and live) seafood is pretty much delicious and accessible. I was proved wrong when I had the fresh grade-A fish & the grilled fresh octopus. The fish was amazingly fresh and clean tasting, grilled simply with no spices (I think only salt & pepper) and drizzled with olive oil. I squeezed some lemon on it; it was divine; you could really taste the "fish" rather than the spices. To be fair, I chose the highest-grade fresh fish, so I think that played a significant factor in the taste. The octopus was cooked to perfection and tasted really good. I really loved it.
I am literally still in awe and craving to have them again (I went there three weeks ago). A few days after, because of my craving, I had similar dishes in another restaurant in Heraklion, but it did not deliver. That is how good my experience here with the food.
One thing that I was unpleasantly surprised about was when I was paying the bill with a card; I was asked to tip quite directly (something for the boys?), which I have never experienced in Greece. I have never been to a country where a tip is mandatory, so I was shocked, but maybe for some people, this is common.

An amazing place with great food and breathtaking views on the sunset. Make sure you reserve a waterfront table in advance, cause it definitely makes a difference.

«Θαλασσινό» όνομα κ πράγμα, στρωμένο με φύκια δάπεδο όπου κ να πατήσεις, ηλιοβασίλεμα στο πιάτο σου, νοστιμότατοι μεζέδες, πολύ καλό σέρβις, απέραντη η ομορφιά της θάλασσας στα πόδια μας.

Beautiful restaurant situated by the sea. Rolling waves hitting the rocks and a beautiful sunset. Dined on the beach somewhere to take someone special. Shark and swordfish were very good! Price was very reasonable. Would recommend!

Location SBALORDITIVA!

Innanzitutto premetto che siamo venuti qui a metà Ottobre, per cui non parliamo di alta stagione, e molti commenti sugerivano di prenotare con largo anticipo; beh nel nostro caso non ce n'è stato bisogno, abbiamo prenotato il pomeriggio, per la sera (4 persone), senza alcun problema.

Un plauso al servizio, che è stato super cordiale, veloce e senza alcuna sbavatura (ci èstato pure offerto il dolce, e la grappa tipica del luogo, il che è sempre un gesto apprezzatissimo).

Per quanto rigaurda la location direi che c'è poco da dire, è un posto stupendo, ceni (quasi) sul mare, con l'odore della brezza marina e il suono delle onde, in totale tranquillità, e con tantissimi gatti dolcissimi che gironzolano attorno ai tavoli.

Unico neo il cibo, mi spiego meglio. Abbiamo ordinato una fisherman's salad, il polpo grigliato, polpo bollito, salsa tzatziki e la carne di squalo fritta. L'insalata, il polpo e la tzatziki ottimi, tutti ingredienti freschissimi e di prima qualità; purtroppo non posso dire la stessa cosa per la carne di squalo, in cui la frittura era davvero pessima, praticamente slegata, e cotta male; inoltre la carne di squalo aveva un sapore molto blando. Ma questo non è stato l'unico problema, altrimenti avrei sorvolato. Il problema reale è che durante la notte non sono stato benissimo, penso proprio a causa di questo piatto.

Per cui sicuramente consiglio di andarci, al 100%, perché si tratta di un posto unico, cibo a prezzi onesti (visto che parliamo di pesce fresco), ma di non ordinare la carne di squalo ????

We came here for our anniversary, the atmosphere was really good, the floor was wet from the tide coming in, which I actually liked, it gave it some character. Unfortunately, the food wasn't our cup of tea. We are really big on flavour and sauces, but all of the dishes rely purely on the natural flavours of the seafood/grill. There was nothing on the menu with a sauce, only olive oil. If you want an 'extra' meal, this place possibly isn't for you. The wine also wasn't to taste.
