Ippokratis, the proud owner of the place, opened its doors in 2015. Built on the waterfront, this establishment is suspended over the Aegean Sea. It features international cuisine based on quality meats and fresh fish. Some dishes are out of the ordinary like the black angus served surf'n'turf. You can also try the octopus or the grilled salmon. This unique place is even more enjoyable at sunset when the golden rays are reflected in delicious cocktails. A splendid place in short!

The owner and staff were lovely and had the perfect subtle approach of checking just enough, to see if all was well. The dry agers lining the walls are a sure sign of someone who cares about gastronomy. I chose the dry aged tuna steak and was in ecstacies taking plenty of time over every mouthful. My mum had the seafood soup which was such a generous portion and so so delicious, nothing rubbery or overcooked and a broth that told of good time spent reducing and layering.
I'm not usually a dessert person but I decided that a baklava cheesecake was something I should not walk away from, and oh my goodness I am glad I put in for a rare third course (I had Cretan sausage for starters which were also great). This cheesecake has me in stunned silence, and in spite of pre-ordering a box to take the leftovers home in, it wasn't needed. In fact, I went back there on my way home from a meal at the port, the next evening, to get the cheesecake again for take out. Heaven. Thank you for a wonderful evening ????
