This Renaissance villa was the home of the Renier nobles, one of the most prominent Venetian families to settle in Chania during the 17th century. Now transformed into a luxury hotel with just nine rooms and suites, it's a real privilege to stay in this historic house. Almost hidden away in an alleyway in the Topanas district, the hotel offers comfortable rooms, most with a view of the old port. A historic and intimate destination, just like Hania's old town.

For us, there are four things that really matter with a hotel. Great location. Comfy bed and pillows. Clean. And helpful local knowledge and recommendations from the hotel staff. This place gets a resounding five stars for all, most especially the last point. Domus renier staff enabled us to experience Crete through the eyes of a local.

写真の通り、バルコニーからは港が一望できて最高のロケーションでした。港の歴史ある建物を改築したホテルですが、中はとても清潔で、クーラーも効いており、綺麗です。
また、フロントのスタッフがとても優しく、ハニアの近くのビーチを一つ一つ紹介しながらおすすめを教えてくれました。
ギリシャの旅でハニアが特に思い出に残っていますが、それは、美味しい食べ物に加え、この素敵なホテルによるものも大きいです！
