Rethymnon has the deserved reputation of having very nice places to eat, and missing this one would be a mistake. First for its enchanting setting, whether you eat outside in the beautiful flowered alley or inside in a small rustic courtyard organized around a pretty well (in Greek pigadi) which gives the restaurant its name. Then for the cuisine, tasty, sophisticated but of Cretan inspiration, perfect alliance of tradition and creativity. Finally the dishes are served with friendliness and professionalism at a more than reasonable price.

To Pigadi Restaurant is located in the heart of the old town of Rethymno, Crete. It offers traditional, Mediterranean and international cuisine. All their dishes are prepared with local products and vegetables from their garden. Here, as appetizers, you can eat wild snails in olive oil, meat cakes or grilled vegetables... The dishes are more traditional, you can opt for the Moussaka, the Cretan cock or the lamb chops. To accompany your dishes, a wide selection of wines is offered such as sparkling, white, rosé or red...

Everything was perfect. I had my birtday celebrated and i choose this location for a meal. The food was delicoius ,and the atmoshpere it is nice and in a very nice area.
Totally recomended. A must if you visit Rethymnon. In the pic it is a starter, with authenthic Cretan food.
Nous avons mangé une vraie moussaka dans les règles de l’art et ce fût une très bonne expérience.
Les vins présentés sont de la région ou grecques. Les deux vins goûtés nous ont donné satisfaction.
