RUDAS THERMAL BATH
Majestic! This is the first word that comes to your mouth when you discover for the first time these historical baths of the city of Budapest. Built in 1550, during the Ottoman occupation of Hungary, these baths have preserved precious decorations such as the basic elements of the Turkish bath with its dome and octagonal basin. For this reason, the baths have undergone a thorough renovation. They were opened to the public again in 2006. Please note, especially if you are visiting, that the baths are reserved for men only during the week, except on Tuesdays, which is women's day. However, don't worry: the outdoor pool is permanently accessible to all. The baths are also open on Fridays and Saturdays, from 10pm to 4am, and are then mixed.
