The libegő is the chairlift for the Buda hills. It has been in service since August 20, 1970, and proves to be very practical. It can be combined with the children's train or various bus routes (291 for the Nyugati station bus). It takes you from 228 m above sea level to 487 m above sea level, close to the János-hegy hill. A great (and rather unusual for Budapest) experience to try. At the top there's a children's playground and, as a bonus, a beautiful panorama of the Hungarian capital. Worth a try. In winter, it's just like skiing.
