Designed by Miklós Ybl in 1875, the Water House was originally responsible for supplying water to the Royal Palace and later functioned as a café, music club and casino. In 2019, the house will become Felix Kitchen & Bar. The promise of this venue is to blend gastronomy, quality, contemporary art, European traditions and modern trends. As well as exceptional food, you'll be won over by the wine and cocktail list, which can be enjoyed on the terrace in summer or in the conservatory the rest of the year.

Peti was a brilliant waiter with great attention to detail. The prices were reasonable for the quality! Would definitely recommend!
Overall the experience was good. This is high end dining so be prepared to spend a ridiculous amount of money. However the food was lovely and the service very good. We had a three course meal (including coffees) plus a bottle of wine, and this came to £220 in total. Would recommend the lamb cutlets (melt in your mouth) as well as the deserts. We had the pistachio ice cream and the creme brulee.
I think the only downside is that the food didn't WOW us. It was very good, but we were expecting a bit more for a Michelin star. I think there are probably places in Budapest equal in food, for a much more affordable price.
