PAPRIKA VENDEGLŐ
Restaurant offering traditional Hungarian cuisine in an authentic setting in Budapest.
A csárda (an inn, as one finds in the great Hungarian plain) right in the middle of Budapest's main boulevard. Inside, it looks like a wooden hut with trunks for beams. You sit on wooden chairs, around a checkered tablecloth, and the many tourists who have made it their HQ feast on traditional Hungarian dishes (still a safe bet, though)! Goulash, fish soup or Bakony-style pork chop with sour cream and mushrooms are all well-prepared classics. Pleasant, English-speaking service.
