BAGOLYVÁR
Tasty cuisine in a restaurant with terrace and garden in Budapest.
At the "Château de la Chouette" in architecture of transylvaine inspiration, the elegant atmosphere of Gundel (these are the same owners) is found: the tables are well prepared and the dishes are precious. Before you have ordered, you will be given a small round of poppy breads, sesame and salt, accompanied by körözött (extra charge). The charming attention, the so-called "grandmother" kitchen - slightly discounted - (many grilled meats), the midday menus make this restaurant a rather good address in the Bois-de-la-Ville. All dishes are cooked and served by women only. In winter, the bright room overlooks a small garden which serves as a terrace in summer.
