Inventive cuisine with French and Italian inspirations to enjoy in a chic and trendy restaurant in Budapest.

Located right in the tourist center, the Cyrano is quite simply a trendy must, distinguished by its originality. Quality cuisine, designer decor - combining luxury and modernity on two floors - all in very good taste. The breakfast menu is as impressive as that of a grand hotel. As for the cuisine, it's inventive and daring. It gives pride of place to Hungarian classics, blending French and Italian inspiration. Try the goulash, chicken paprika or duck risotto.

Duck was poor, would not recommend it, and deer goulash was below average. They recommended starter something that was more like desert, and quality was poor. Add this to the price, and it was not looking good at all.

Good location, a fine period building, good food, good (English-speaking) service. Pricey compared to many local restaurants, however, so be aware: a two-course dinner for two with wine came in at €150.

Dinner for one tonight. Fantastic service. I savoured every mouthful of the venison (deer) goulash with a juicy glass of Hungarian wine. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Our hotel recommended the restaurant, We had the signature dishes, Hungarian goulash soup but it lacked flavour unfortunately. The paprika chicken with egg noodles was nice but also could have a bit more flavour. The chicken wasn’t tender enough.
The side of cucumber salad was lovely. Service was good but I wouldn’t run back for the food. 13% service fee is included in the price and they do disclose this on the menu which was good. No heaters outside.
