Charming restaurant offering inventive cuisine of Hungarian and Mediterranean inspiration in Budapest.
For a successful evening in relation to your touristic activities, although fortunately far from the restaurants where you are warmly welcome and taken to your table, visit Kheiron. The name of this establishment means "fragrance" as shown on the carte which evokes mythological Greek centaur. Set at 200 metres from the Basilica, this restaurant offers a blend of Hungarian and Mediterranean cuisine in a refined atmosphere. The welcome is warm and the food is fine. Good news, the menu is in French. Among the propositions à la carte, there is nothing to fear as the food is inventive. Our favourite is Belgian chocolate fondant, which leaves sweet memories.

I do not include the opinion of the " Petit Futé " ... this restaurant that I tried in the evening is a " trap touristes" . The reception is passable and the cuisine is not up to what you can read in the critic of the guide. An example: the dish of foie gras with apples = a piece of foie gras (5cm X 3cm) + 2 big apple slices give volume on the plate... the rest of the meal was the same without and quality of the ingredients.
