Charming, cheap restaurant in the Újlipótváros district of Budapest.
A restaurant of tradition, very affordable, with wood panelling and ceiling height - which has existed for almost a hundred years! The distinguished service and the dishes are a good bill. The space between tables contributes to the feeling of calm and intimacy. Summer terrace.

Previous to this event, my family came to this restaurant several times for the ambience and the good quality of the food (which is fantastic without a doubt).
Unfortunately, we got a very bad service on that night.
We got a server who really had bad manners (rushed us to order drinks), forgot my father's order and messed up my order. When we pointed out the mistakes, the answer was that he couldn't hear my father's wishes, and that I ordered what he brought. The funny thing is that we all pointed our dishes on the menu as well as saying them out loud as well (the other people at the table heard our order really well, just saying). But he never took notes or anything about we have ordered. He never excused himself and made us feel bad about the experience.
Again, food is amazing without any question asked...
But service... I wouldn't recommend at all!
