MILLENNIUM KÁVÉHÁZ ÉS ÉTTEREM
Elegant restaurant, fine and inventive cuisine in the heart of the Bois-de-la-Ville, with the garden and the Art Nouveau touch in addition.
A fairly new, elegant café-restaurant with fine cuisine in the Bois-de-la-Ville. The interior features early 20th century Art Deco style and Zsolnay ceramics. Outside, there is a terrace planted with flowers and overlooking the greenery. On the plate, seasonal proposals of excellent quality - and rather cheap considering the standing: duck breast and beet risotto, grilled trout and cauliflower gratin, cream of celery..

It's a truly magnificent building. It's the former Olof Palme House, originally built in 1885 as an arts hall. After undergoing extensive renovation, it was reopened to the public in October 2019, now functioning as a cultural center. While it once served as the Budapest Museum, its interior was sadly damaged during World War II, leading to the loss of its original decor. The restoration project, initiated in late 2017, meticulously adheres to the original architectural blueprints, bringing back the building's grandeur to its initial splendor.
