Mezzes, couscous, tajines: the best of Mediterranean world cuisine on Mount Ararat in this highly prized restaurant.
At the corner of rue Dob and Rumbach Sebestyén, in the heart of the lively neighborhood, here is a friendly and very popular address, generous and succulent, like the Mediterranean! North Africa, the Middle East, the Caucasus and even Spain meet at the table in a refined decor: Lebanese mezzés to share, chicken and lemon tagine, hummus, chakchouka (Israeli ratatouille with egg), Turkish burger with mint sauce, quinoa salad, fish couscous, Portuguese cod brandade, Moroccan harira soup... A little culinary gem.

The place has a pleasant atmosphere and tasteful decoration, making it attractive from the very first moment. The staff, especially the waitresses, are kind and attentive, thus contributing to a positive experience. However, despite these strengths, the service suffers from a certain slowness, which overshadows the overall picture. The food quality is good and tasty, but the portion sizes are disappointing, especially considering the waiting time. The cortado coffee is acceptable but could easily be better (even at home). The dessert is decent, although we only had one choice available out of the possible three, with no particular complaints about it. Overall, I am satisfied, but for me, it does not reach a 4.5 rating, rather it is below 4, somewhere around 3.9.
