In terms of hummus and falafel, it's very simple, we don't do better than at Maher in Budapest! This Palestinian national opened a small middle eastern canteen 100% vegetarian (and even vegetalian!) serving simple but tasty Middle Eastern dishes, such as this falafel sandwich, or this whip, a lightly fermented dish of beans that fits perfectly with a bed of housoft. On the menu, there are also leafy vine leaves or eggplant caviar. Exquisite, fast and very cheap, we're asking again!
