Costes Downtown is a gourmet restaurant located in central Budapest, on the first floor of the Hotel Prestige. In this place combining culinary art and hospitality, chef Márk Molnár offers recipes featuring fresh, locally grown ingredients. For a complete culinary adventure, he offers a "tasting" menu featuring eleven dishes that change with theseasons. Similarly, for groups, the house suggests a " downtown business lunch " menu including an aperitif, main course and dessert. From the custom, signed, menu to the amazing drinks and attention to detail, the evening was a delight! An amuse bouche followed by an eight course tasting menu, paired not with wines but with eight amazing cocktails, were one beautiful creation after another.
As the evening was coming to an end we were invited up to the kitchen to make our own dessert under the guidance of the sweet chef and we got to use the Costes branded aprons which we had been given!
Overall a great experience that I would recommend to anyone who loves great service and food! Thank you Chef David, David, Adam and the whole team for a memorable evening!
