The Costes restaurant is located in downtown Budapest. Here, chef Jeno Racz serves modern European cuisine. His dishes are characterized by the usual boho elegance , with combinations that are both avant-garde and surprising. Jeno Racz also pays particular attention to the quality, sustainability and seasonality ofingredients forthe perfect experience. The authenticity of real cuisine isguaranteed. What's more, this restaurant offers a six-course tasting menu, which you can order with a wine and food pairing. The restaurant has been regularly awarded a Michelin star since 2010. A very good address not to be missed.

Despite the techniques and the appearance of the dishes I’ve expected the food to be tastier, most of the dishes were fine in taste not something special.
Also I’ve ordered pescatarian meal and while my friends ate foie gras and steak I was served lentils and lettuce steak, I’ve expected little bit more unique ingredients for the price I’ve paid for that experience.
For example, I merely sneezed and a waiter ran to me with a full box of tissues. Similarly, my wife asked for still water but was later incorrectly given sparkling. We didn’t really care, but a waitress was watching so closely that she came over to replace my wife’s glass with still as soon as she noticed the error. Their sense of awareness is just amazing!
Not only was the food excellent, but the alcohol pairing was perfect. You could tell they did their homework to get the perfect pairing for each dish. What an experience!
I simply could not recommend Costes enough. I hope so much for the opportunity to done here again in the future.
