An address to enjoy generous Hungarian cuisine in Budapest.
The büfé and refreshment stands are lined up on the second floor of the Great Hall, in the right wing. Here, you can sit at a high table overlooking the first floor of the market and enjoy Hungarian dishes, generously served. Lángos (fried doughnuts topped with cream or cheese), sausages(kolbász) and fözelék (thick soups). The shopkeepers have understood: you can even pay in euros! Downstairs, in the center, a stand sells excellent rétes (strudels).

Un incontournable de Budapest! Ces Halles sont magnifiques d'un point de vue architectural. Le marché alimentaire se trouve au rez de chaussée. A l'étage, vous pourrez facilement trouver de quoi faire vos cadeaux souvenir : jeux d'échec, écharpes soie/cachemire, t-shirt, et autres bibelots.

Endroit très typique de la ville, en bas divers produits alimentaires, à l'étage plutot des souvenirs sur la gauche et de l'autre coté des stands de nourriture dont le fameux langos je vous recommande celui à la crème et au fromage u vrai délice!

Excellente sortie dépaysante, fruits et légumes au rez-de-chaussée et des milliers de souvenirs du plus kitsch au plus raffiné à l'étage, avec une partie "street food" qui permet de goûter aux spécialités hongroises pour pas cher. Seul bémol, c'est fermé le dimanche.

Magnificent! From the outside including interior! Return even if you do not want to buy. It is a delight for the eyes. These stalls Hungarian salami (delicious!) and paprika (similar!) will water mouth...
