A youth hostel, 6 apartments and 16 cosy double rooms on the first floor of a splendid late 19th century building in the city centre.

In a superb building courtyard in the bourgeois center of Pest, an ultra-comfortable youth hostel occupies the upper floor. Dormitories with 10 or 5 beds and 4 bathrooms. But also 14 double rooms and 6 apartments. Communal lounge and kitchen. Impeccably clean and a warm welcome. Unbeatable value for money for all budgets, absolutely recommended! The hostel offers a wide range of activities and guided tours.

I have travelled all around Europe staying in hostels.Maverick hostel is the best i have stayed at so far!!!! Everything was excellent! The staff very friendly and helpful,the location is the best you could get,right in the center in walkable distance from just about every sight worth visiting,and if you need public transportation the metro station is right out of your door. The rooms and common areas are stylish and cosy and cleanliness is top!!! Totally recommend this place. Thank you Maverick staff for making my vacation in Budapest so pleasant!!!

a great hostel for a good price, though it gets expensive on weekends due to surge pricing. the 8 bed dorm was very spacious, with lockers to store our things. the lockers are big enough to fit a large backpack, which is useful.

the common area includes a kitchen area which has an induction stove, pots and pans and cutlery, which is good for budget travelers to prepare their own food. there were enough toilets and showers as well, i never had to wait as there was always a vacant one. the bathrooms were clean and spacious enough.

location is good too, very close to the citadel and walking distance to lots of tourist spots like the central market, even the parliament building and buda castle, though those are a little further.

and the staff were all very nice and helpful! overall a good choice for a hostel in budapest

Great place to stay at, specially the female dorm was amazing, location is fantastic, everything is within walking distance, the staff were amazing specially Sorosh which helped me a lot on the day of my departure, definitely will return
