A hotel with a real historical cachet in the heart of Île Marguerite. The establishment is connected by an underground tunnel to the Danubius Health Spa Resort (the hotel opposite) and its superb thermal complex equipped with 4 swimming pools, outdoor and indoor, a sauna, whirlpool baths and a fitness club, possibility of massages (in addition); free access for the hotel's guests. Large rooms with very good comfort, all have a bathtub, a minibar, a desk and a view of the island. A part of the clientele comes here for a cure.

Mais aujourd'hui, l'ambiance est plutôt "fin de règne".
Moquettes, mobilier, sanitaires et draps auraient besoin d'un sérieux renouvellement.
Cependant les chambres sont spacieuses, le service attentionné, et le tunnel pour accéder au spa (accès gratuit) est très pratique par -12°C.
Notre chambre disposait d'un agréable balcon donnant sur le parc.
L'environnement est extrêmement tranquille, car sur une île, sans aucune circulation ou presque ( un arrêt de bus a proximité permet de rejoindre le centre ville)
