This amazing building, all movement and roundness imitating the silhouette of a whale (hence the name in Hungarian!), finally opened its doors to the general public in 2013. The old warehouses along the Danube, behind the big market, were preserved, and a glass and metal structure was simply added. A few shops, restaurants and cafes/bars have been set up along the river and inside the structure, sometimes organizing concerts or DJ sets. The Danube promenade is particularly pleasant.
