BUDAPEST JAZZ CLUB
This institution of Pesto's cultural life has migrated from the 8th to the 13th arrondissement, abandoning a pretty mansion for an old cinema: it's a bit dark and yet warm, especially at lunchtime when you come here. Concert halls and the café-bar fill up with jazzophiles (and the general public) at the end of the evening in this lively neighbourhood of Ùjlipótvàros on the banks of the Danube. Several jam sessions open to all during the week. The students of the Franz Liszt Academy of Music also come to play a few free sessions.
