Founded in 1935 by Mátyás Szamos, this family-run confectionery is famous for its marzipan-based chocolates and bonbons. A chocolate museum, school and tea room, it's definitely one of Hungary's gourmet institutions. Szamos Gourmet House is a tearoom-restaurant combining a pastry shop, a café and a chocolate factory. Here you'll find all kinds of the brand's products: marzipan sweets, traditional cakes, coffee and tea, as well as breakfasts, à la carte dishes and a speciality: chocolate chilli fillet!
