ST. FLORIAN'S CHAPEL (SZENT FLÓRIÁN KÁPOLNA)
Remarkable Baroque chapel, parish church of the Greek-Catholic community in Budapest.
The yellow chapel of Saint-Florián was built in the middle of the 18th century, dedicated to Saint Florian, a Roman soldier from what is now Austria, who died a martyr of Christianity around 304 and was the patron saint of firemen, bakers and chimney sweeps (he had challenged his executioner when he was about to be burned at the stake). The building, which has all the characteristics of the Baroque period, is now the parish church of the Greek-Catholic community.
