The southernmost and most modern bridge in downtown Budapest.
Inaugurated in October 1995, it is the most recent of all bridges (with the exception of the Megyeri Bridge on Budapest's northern border, completed in 2009), and the most southerly. Its completely contemporary shape and lampposts make it the most modern of all downtown bridges. The only hitch is that the paintwork is already falling apart... The Rákóczi Bridge was formerly called Lágymányosi, and was renamed in 2011. It is 195 m long and 31 m wide.
